Lin glanced back over her shoulder momentarily at the young woman standing behind her. ”I also….met someone. You’d like her. She’s young and reckless, but she makes up for it. She’s the Avatar.”
Lin took a deep breath and lowered her voice further so that Korra could no longer hear. ”I think I may be falling for her, and I wish you were here. I need some advice on what I should do. Her age scares me, and Tenzin’s barely speaking to me. Am I making the right decision?”
She waited, but no mystical voice came down from the sky to tell her what to do, not that she had expected one to. She sighed and bent down to place the flowers in front of her mother’s grave, her throat tightening as she fought down tears.
